Hi I am Hattie Gotobed. I am 17 years old and I simply love acting, modelling and dancing. I first appeared on stage age just 22months in The Wizard of Oz playing a flower girl. At 5 I performed in my first professional pantomime and I filmed my first short film role age 6. I love acting and after completing A levels I will be pursuing acting full time. I had an amazing time filming the role of Ghita alongside Maisie Williams in Game of Thrones (Season 5) where I got to do a lot of stunt work. I was her first face and had prosthetics and filmed in Belfast with an amazing crew. I present Disney’s Minnie Fashion Challenge on the Disney Channel. It was an amazing few months of filming. I got to meet so many lovely mentors and learn so much about Minnie and Fashion. There is a 4 page feature about the show in Shout Magazine November 2015 issue. Also an online interview for Tween Magazine with further magazine articles for Young Performer and Girl Talk Magazine due out soon.
I recently filmed the co lead role of Lucia in a sinister phycological thriller The Visitor for the BBC – currently in post production, supported by Film London I am excited to see the final film.
I have filmed a small role in Lawrence: After Arabia and also a teen school girl in Jenna the Great – both filmed in my native Dorset.
Michael Pearce’s film Beast is now in cinemas and out on DVD I star as Jade alongside Johnny Flynn and Jess Buckley – it was a great experience and won a BAFTA!!!
I also filmed a short film called The Rink directed by Gail Hackston and starring some very great child actors. I enjoyed making new friends and getting to ice skate!
My role as Young Georgie in film App for Life is now on the Festival circuit and doing very well – I play the younger version of the lead and she is a bit of a tomboy which I love
I have already filmed with Brad Pitt when I doubled as his daughter ‘Connie’ on the set of WWZ and was chased by zombies. I filmed with Nick Hoult in Jack the Giant Slayer and I spent a couple of months filming as Lily on the set of Snow White and the Huntsman. Rachael Stirling played my mum and all my scenes were with Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth. I also got to work with Sam Claflin and the late Dave Legeno. I recently played a terminally ill girl with EB alongside a great cast including Max Brown. I have also appeared in numerous short films including dressing as a Christmas tree and filming with Becky the deer. I have filmed several adverts including the lead in a Vtech Kidizoom camera, Coolcardz and Shaker maker.
I also love fashion and modelling. I am small for my age and can wear age 12-13 clothes! I recently shot a lovely beach shoot with the wonderful photographer Julie Dolbear and I also did an editorial shoot with Jonathan Green. A couple of years ago I shot a big campaign for Monsoon – for their new Storm Kid’s Range – Summer and Winter 2015. I also did Next and M&S Back to School shoots and you can see my pictures in store! I have also done several shoots for M&S in store and a lovely skiing one for F&F. I was in Primark windows in the spring and also the Argos catalogue. I am in several Girl Talk magazines and I have also done an M&S fashion show and modelled for Next and Tescos among others.
I have been dancing since I was 18 months old, when I snuck into my sisters dance lesson and joined in! I do ballet, tap, modern and street and I also enjoy singing and I am learning to play the guitar.
I have an older brother Rohan who played Young Sirius Black in Harry Potter and an older sister Melissa who played a small role in Great Expectations alongside Jeremy Irvine.
I have my own dog Dash who is a 7 year old black and white springer spaniel who keeps me entertained and fit along with Missy, her son Mickey and their mum Belle (sadly now passed)
When not acting or at school I love horse riding and have my own pony called Atlas – he is a cheeky pony and we got to do an editorial shoot together which was a lot of fun and appeared in Horse and Rider magazine.
I also like playing with my friends, you tubers, computer games and being an ordinary girl.
